An admission

I'm a total wimp when it comes to bugs. Right now I'm in our family room. Trying to stay calm. Trying to not let the irrational fear take over.

What is so terrifying you ask?

Well...a bee. A huge freakin' bee. A bee that (probably) can't get anywhere near me. It's stuck behind the glass door of our fireplace insert. But it's huge. Did I say that it's huge? And it's buzzing against the glass trying to get out. And I'm totally freaked out. I've got that horrible "heeby jeeby" feeling. Like all the hairs on the back of my neck are raised. I keep glancing over at the fireplace to make sure it hasn't escaped.

I may have to leave the room. I'm so pathetic, it's ridiculous.

Any admissions you'd like to make?

  1. Two years ago my hubby went to let the dog out at night, he opened the door and a HUGE wolf spider ran right in the house behind the couch. HUGE is not really the word for this creature! We were all standing on the chairs, screaming like girls when hubby finally decided to brave it and smash the spider after spraying it with the only thing he could reach...a can of carpet cleaner. When he smashed the spider...thousands of tiny baby spiders scattered all over the room! It was aweful! LOL! I still have the heeby jeebies when I sit on that side of the couch!

  2. I once called my friend down the street and had her come over and kill a cockroach in my living room.

I once found a mouse trapped in our bathroom so I shut the door and waited for my husband to come home and take care of it.

    I'm sure there are more. . . I don't like critters either!
